Accommodation & Facilities

Springbank Cottage is built on three levels and on the top floor has a large en suite double room plus a twin room with an adjacent private bathroom. Both rooms enjoy spectacular sea views and can accommodate an extra single bed to sleep an additional adult or child.

The third letting single or small double room, also with an adjacent bathroom, is located on the ground floor and is particularly suitable for guests who might have difficulties negotiating flights of stairs.

Breakfast

An extensive breakfast menu is available in the Dining Room which is located on the second floor of the house with spectacular views of the harbour and the sea cliffs of St. Abbs Head.

Breakfast is normally served at 8.30 am although arrangements for earlier times can be accommodated. Special diets are also catered for.

Other facilities

Free Parking: Free car parking space for one car per room is available in front of the cottage.

Secure Lock-Up / Drying Area: Springbank Cottage provides secure, covered lock-up space for cyclists and divers and also offers clothes drying facilities including a tumble dryer.

Packed Lunches/Evening Meals: A wide range of filled rolls, scones and cakes are available from our Tea Garden menu from 10.00 am until 5.00 pm either to be provided as a packed lunch or as an early evening snack meal. Springbank Cottage does not provide cooked evening meals but a number of restaurants and pubs are located a short car or bus ride away.
